Using a soft-key programming technique common in cellular telephones and automated teller machines, the INSIGHT thermostat's menu walks users through the simple programming in an easy, step-by-step fashion, using plain language in either English, French or Spanish.

Users can program the INSIGHT thermostat to include 7 individual day, 5-2 day, 5-1-1 day and 24-hour programming. The INSIGHT thermostat can also be set to the auto changeover mode for continuous comfort year round.

The sleekly designed model also features these industry firsts:

• A large dot-matrix display rather than the standard, small LCD display used on other thermostats. This unique, backlit display whose font size is 20 percent larger than that in a standard thermostat display is easier to read and understand by the user, than any other electronic thermostat.

• Special software lets the INSIGHT thermostat be programmed in any of three languages: English, Spanish, and French. Users simply touch a button to choose the language they want.
