GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SMS-1 multi-stage programmable controller is designed for new or replacement applications. The SMS-1 represents the latest in solid-state surface mount electronics and manufacturing techniques incorporated into an extremely low profile, ultra-slim white ABS plastic case. The SMS-1 contains a "user friendly" program along with an easy-to-read vertical LCD that displays all current information and operation modes. A direct wire, easy-to-install subbase mounts on a standard vertical outlet box or any dry wall surface using anchors and hardware provided.

STANDARD FEATURES Selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature display. Fan selector for continuous fan operation. Built-in short cycle protection. Electronic circuitry replaces conventional mechanical anticipator. Internal switch to lock-out the keypad to prevent unauthorised tampering. 45 second fan purge after heating and cooling call. 12 hour or 24 hour clock. Copy feature to allow one program to be copied to subsequent days. Does not require a battery (always maintains the last setpoint and mode of operation following power outages of any duration.) Dry contact relay outputs. Two free lights. Lockable access cover. Temperature override (3 hours). Continuous override (Hold). LCD service symbols (selectable) Outdoor temperature Sensor (optional).
